Masseria Fonte Vecchia

Fonte Vecchia is a small Masseria a few kilometers from Ostuni. The owner is a historian / artist and this is reflected in the refined furnishings and antique style that characterizes this house.

Masseria Fonte Vecchia is on two levels: on the ground floor there is a large living room, a double bedroom, a kitchen and two bathrooms, while on the first floor there are two large double bedrooms and a bathroom. Adjacent to the Masseria there is an annex with a bedroom with a French bed and a bathroom. Decorations and paintings of great value embellish the interiors, while outside a beautiful colonnade of bougainvillea, flowers and fruit trees will inebriate your curious nostrils with scents.

The crystal-clear sea of ​​the Adriatic coast is only a few kilometres away and wonderful seaside towns such as Monopoli and Polignano a Mare are within easy reach.

Fonte Vecchia is located in the heart of Itria Valley, among the medieval historic centres of Ostuni, known as the “the White Town”, Cisternino and Locorotondo, recognized as two of the “Most Beautiful Towns in Italy”, Martina Franca, known as “The Baroque City”, and Alberobello, capital of the Trulli and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Itria Valley is also an ideal destination for lovers of bicycles and nature walks: the Apulian Aqueduct Cycle Path offers the chance to immerse yourself, for a stretch of about 20 km, in a unique landscape made of centuries-old olive trees, vineyards and cultivated fields, dry stone walls, trulli and Masserias.
